Accrington Pipe Band are delighted to announce that they will be playing in Accrington Town Centre on Wednesday 16 May 2012 as part of the celebrations to mark Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee when she visits the town with Prince Philip.

The last time Accrington Pipe Band marched & played for a Royal Diamond Jubilee was for Queen Victoria in 1897 for her Diamond Jubilee Parade.

We hope to see lots of you there and hope that you have a great day.

On behalf of Accrington Pipe Band, Pipe Major Trevor Stokes and all members of the band would like to wish Her Majesty many congratulations on reaching her Diamond Jubilee and we hope that she enjoys a pleasant visit to Accrington.
